Occupation: Stay at home Dad

Bike Type: Orbea

Why am I riding:  This year will be my second Ride for Sick Kids which I’m very excited about, being part of such an enthusiastic team and riding for such a wonderful cause. I’m defiantly looking forward to tackling this adventure head on riding from Pt Lincoln to Adelaide via the Yorke Peninsula for the first time in the rides history. Through my wife’s work at McDonalds and being a house ambassador, I have seen how dedicated, committed and caring all the staff, volunteers and our community are in working together to keep families close during their time of need. RMHA receives no ongoing government funding, the house relies on you and I, our community and fundraising to help provide the quality care to hundreds of families yearly. I’m riding for every past, present and future family, knowing that the money I raise will help make a difference to their lives, the pain I may encounter over the 1000km ride will be nothing compared to what families go through with a seriously ill child. RMHA is a home away from home for many families and I am honoured to be playing a small part in making this possible.

Thank you for your support and I’ll see you at the finish line.
